These terms govern your use of the Iora Festivals mobile application, its content and connected services (together, the "App"). Please read them before using the App.

1. Accepting these terms and eligibility

By creating an account, selecting an acceptance control presented in the App, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use the App. If you use the App for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. What the App does

Iora Festivals helps visitors discover festival line-ups, schedules, maps, points of interest, vendors and offers; ask festival-related questions; save plans; and coordinate with friends using groups, messages and the optional approximate-location feature called Pulse. Features may vary by festival, device, region and release.

The consumer App is currently provided free of charge. It does not currently include paid subscriptions, in-app purchases or donations. Any future paid feature will be presented with its price and additional applicable terms before purchase.

3. Festival information and safety

Festival information can change at short notice and may come from organisers, venues, vendors, public sources or other third parties. We try to provide useful information but do not guarantee that line-ups, set times, maps, crowd or queue indicators, prices, offers, weather, transport details or venue rules are complete, accurate or current.

The App is not an emergency service or an official source of safety advice. Check official festival, venue, transport, weather and public-authority sources before making time-critical or safety-related decisions. In an emergency, contact the local emergency services and follow on-site instructions.

4. Accounts and security

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method and device secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.

You may delete your account at any time. See our account deletion guide.

5. Groups, messages and other user content

You may create group names, messages, tent notes, reports or other material ("User Content"). You retain your rights in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, transmit, display and moderate it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the App and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for content that has been anonymised, shared with others or must be retained by law.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content. Do not post personal or location information about someone without their permission.

Moderation, reporting and blocking

The App uses content filtering and provides tools to report messages and block users. We may review reports, remove or restrict content, preserve evidence, warn users, and suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary. We do not promise to monitor every item before it appears. To report content outside the App, email legal@iora.network with enough detail to identify it.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

7. Pulse location sharing

Pulse is optional. Only start or accept a Pulse session with people you trust. Participants in the relevant session can see your approximate area until you stop sharing or the session expires. Pulse is not suitable for emergency location, navigation, safeguarding or monitoring. More detail appears in our Privacy Statement.

8. Offers, vendors and third-party services

Offers and vendor information may be supplied and fulfilled by independent third parties. Unless the App clearly states otherwise, Iora is not the seller of food, drink, tickets, reservations or other third-party goods or services. The third party's own terms, availability and refund rules may apply. External identity providers, maps, app stores, push-delivery services and linked websites are also governed by their own terms.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its software, design, Iora branding and original content are owned by or licensed to Iora. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the App for lawful, non-commercial purposes while these terms apply. Festival names, artist names, logos, photographs, maps and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Changes, availability and termination

We may update, add, remove, suspend or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may restrict or terminate access where you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, create a safety or security risk, or where required by law. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to appeal by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided with reasonable care and skill, but otherwise on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by inaccurate third-party festival information, a third-party service, events outside our reasonable control, or use of the App contrary to these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Statement explains what personal data we process, why we use it, how long we keep it, who receives it, and your rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes in the App or by email where appropriate. The new terms apply from the stated effective date. If a material change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also rely on mandatory rights and bring proceedings in the courts available under the law of their country of residence.

Please contact legal@iora.network first so we can try to resolve a complaint informally.

15. General

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the App, provided this does not reduce your mandatory rights.
